The Other Way of Using Norwegian Adjectives

There is another way in which we can use the adjectives for the bestemt entall (definite singular) and bestemt flertall (definite plural) forms of the nouns as shown below.

Hankjønn

Bilen er fin.
The car is nice
Bilene er fine.
The cars are nice.
Bilen er ny.
The car is new.
Bilene er nye.
The cars are new.
Bilen er gammel.
The car is old.
Bilene er gamle.
The cars are old.
Bilen er rød.
The car is red.
Bilene er røde.
The cars are red.
Bilen er hvit.
The car is white.
Bilene er hvite.
The cars are white.
Bilen er dyr.
The car is expensive.
Bilene er dyre.
The cars are expensive.
Bilen er billig.
The car is cheap.
Bilene er billige.
The cars are cheap.
Bilen er moderne.
The car is modern.
Bilene er moderne.
The cars are modern.
Bilen er norsk.
The car is Norwegian.
